Who are we?

We are a successful Australian owned family business on the Sunshine Coast. Some ten years ago, we started flipping property and made the decision to start importing fit-out products from China. The savings generated from that time to now have been reinvested into the business itself and other properties- repeating the “buy – ship – save” process. Ship-Your-Reno has grown into a business that has streamlined the processes associated with importing. We have clients both in Australia and overseas and we can still boast about the fact that our service ethic is top shelf.

What do we offer?

Simple .. …. 2 separate options DIY option for those who have the time to get more involved and a Full Service option for the time poor.

How does it work?

Firstly – become a client by paying the access fee* of:

$3000 + GST for one project

Suited for one time users like couples or individuals

$5000 + GST annually for multiple projects

Suited for industry/construction specialists

*The fee grants access to our supply chain, reflecting our research and due diligence for peace of mind regarding Australian Standards, reliability, trustworthiness, warranties, and after-sales service.

Purchasing the products is done by the client (with our assistance if needed), directly with our trusted suppliers in China

How do I benefit?

You’re simply cutting out the retailer here in Australia and dealing directly with the manufacturer.

How do I shop or buy stuff?

We provide you with a supplier pack, all prices of goods are quoted to you in USD$ on an ‘EXWorks’ basis this represents factory price of goods.

The factory does not charge you GST on the goods that happens when they land in Australia.

Choose your stuff – (this is the real exciting bit)

Communication occurs through email. We also use Wechat as this platform allows for quick communication of videos and photos.

Once your happy with the product specs etc – pay your deposit and manufacturing commences.

You’ll be advised of progress by the manufacturers, once your order is nearly finished then let us know and we’ll start helping you plan the shipping.

Shipping goods and costs

There are four parts to the shipping costs:

  1. Consolidation charge if appficable (we will let you know if this applies)
  2. Cost of getting goods from overseas to Australia
  3. Paying GST and statutory charges on landed goods in Australia
  4. Delivery from dock to site

We can provide you with an estimate of costs before you finalise your order with the factory, alternatively, you can organise your own shipping directly. We can provide a sample of a shipping invoice at your request.

I will be working in the background, am in constant contact with the factories, and am at hand to help with any questions you have about the process.

Full service option

Many clients we speak with are busy doing life, or builders are busy building and don’t have the time it takes to make all the choices with our suppliers …. So, let us source the products for you. Give us your plans, specs and an idea of what you want we’re away!

The same upfront fees apply to start the process to access our supply chain the only additional charge* would be the cost of our time for the administrative functions and management of the whole process start to finish! Just sit back, wait for your goods to arrive unload your container and complete your fit out!

*NB – the additional fee is per dwelling or as per negotiation for multiple sites (ask us for a quote)
